I am training with my daughter for the Honolulu Marathon on December 14, 2003, with the S. Florida Chapter of Team in Training of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in honor of patient Sharon Fuster and in memory of my beloved companion, Robert M. Levine, my wonderful ophthalmologist, Dr. David Kasner, the esteemed jurist, The Honorable Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. , a devoted supporter of our local arts and cultural community, Lt. Colonel Jacques L. Sherman, and the many others whom we have lost to cancer. I have received more than $6,200 in contributions to The Society from over 100 donors in connection with my successful speed walk of the Virginia Beach Half Marathon on August 31, 2003, and my training for the forthcoming Honolulu marathon.
